Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. This helps ensure power delivery to consumers.
- Perform pole climbing, operate bucket trucks, and use specialized tools to access and work on energized and de-energized power lines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical equipment. Identify and resolve issues such as faulty transformers, broken conductors, and damaged insulators.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls. Restore power during outages caused by storms, accidents, or equipment failures, often working in challenging conditions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a basic level of education.
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in electrical line work, providing practical skills and knowledge.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), enabling the operation of specialized equipment.
