About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Charles Upham Retirement Village, Rangiora (30 mins from Christchurch City), as a Caregiver.

We have a Fixed Term, Full Time position available to cover parental leave. The position runs from 04/10/2026 to 06/07/2027.

You will work:

  • Sunday – Tuesday: 0730-1300.
  • Sunday – Monday: 1500-2100.
  • Tuesday – Thursday: 1600-2000.
  • Total: 38 hours.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families.
  • Follow our residents’ individual care plans and provide care that would be good enough for your own mum, dad, nana, or poppa.
  • Use the latest technology, including our own purpose-built care app, myRyman.
  • Work closely with and support your colleagues to create a great team environment.

About You

We’d love you to have experience working in aged care, but this is not essential.
