Job Description

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is excited to expand our housekeeping department. Multiple casual opportunities are now available.

About the Job

  • Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms. This includes making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
  • Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively. All training and tools are provided.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors. This helps foster a positive and respectful work environment.

Shift Details

Subject to change:

  • Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.
  • Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.

Hourly Rates

Excluding superannuation:

  • Monday – Friday: $33.85 per hour
  • Saturday: $40.62 per hour
  • Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Qualifications

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Training will be provided.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
