Ammunition Technician Responsibilities
The Ammunition Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate ammunition records and ensuring that all materials are handled safely and securely.
Receiving and Storing Ammunition
- Receive and inspect incoming ammunition shipments.
- Properly store ammunition according to applicable safety procedures.
- Ensure ammunition storage areas remain secure and organized.
- Prevent unauthorized access to ammunition storage areas.
Inventory and Recordkeeping
- Perform accurate inventory counts.
- Maintain stock records using electronic systems.
- Track ammunition usage and stock levels.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies.
- Request resupply when ammunition levels require replenishment.
Inspection and Safety
- Conduct routine inspections of stored ammunition.
- Identify damaged, expired, or otherwise unsuitable ammunition.
- Follow established safety regulations and handling procedures.
- Maintain strict compliance with security protocols.
Qualifications
