Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling warehouse inventory safely and efficiently. Key duties include:
- Receive, store, handle, and release inventory items.
- Maintain familiarity with stock codes and part numbers.
- Ensure all inventory movements are supported by approved transaction documents.
- Sign and process warehouse documents whenever required.
- Submit warehouse documents within 24 hours for recording.
- Store inventory securely using proper warehouse procedures, including FIFO.
- Keep warehouse racks, cages, bins, and storage areas clean and properly labeled.
- Maintain an organized warehouse that allows easy identification and retrieval of stock.
