Responsibilities
- Transport horses safely to and from race days, barrier trials, and paddock work
- Load and unload horses with care, following strict safety procedures
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, refuelling, and roadworthiness
- Provide private transport for management staff when required
- Liaise with management and stable staff regarding horse transport schedules
- Assist with strapping duties when needed
- Perform basic stable hand tasks such as hosing, rugging, feeding horses, and yard cleaning
- Support general stable operations during busy periods
- Operate equine treadmill when required (training provided if necessary)
Requirements
- Minimum MR truck licence or willingness to obtain one before starting
- Proven horse-handling experience
- Reliable, punctual, and honest work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early starts
- Well-presented with professional conduct at all times
- Valid visa and work documents for international applicants
- Good understanding of English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
