Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), your key duties will include:
- Proctoring exams and maintaining testing integrity
- Assisting with building cleaning and general maintenance
- Supporting light teaching and academic review sessions
- Managing classrooms with firmness and consistency
- Assisting students with questions and academic needs
- Communicating effectively with administrative staff
- Monitoring student behavior during afterschool programs
- Supporting intensive summer courses when required
Requirements
- Must be at least a high school senior (12th grade)
- Ability to work in person at Bayside, NY
- Availability during afterschool hours and Saturdays during the school year
- Flexibility for schedule changes during summer intensive courses
- Commitment to professionalism and student support
Skills

Pay
- High school students (up until senior year summer break ends): $17/hr
- College students: $18/hr
- Overall pay range listed: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
