Job Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your main duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Ensuring guest rooms are well-stocked with amenities and clean linen
- Handling guest requests and service-related matters professionally
- Following hotel procedures for Lost and Found items
- Maintaining proper grooming and professional appearance at all times
- Ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are safely arranged on the trolley
- Reporting maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Checking rooms with “Do Not Disturb” signs and updating records accordingly
- Ensuring service areas are clean, safe, and properly closed at the end of the shift
- Communicating important information to the next shift or supervisor
Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Experience in a five-star hotel environment is an advantage
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Willingness to follow hotel policies and safety standards
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks for long periods
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
