Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general garden maintenance across high-end residential properties
  • Operate power tools including hedge trimmers (large and small), weed eaters, leaf blowers, and lawn mowers
  • Prune, groom, and maintain a wide range of plant materials
  • Manage soil health, appearance, and garden presentation
  • Apply fertilisers, both organic and non-organic, as required
  • Identify and manage pests using organic and other appropriate methods
  • Maintain high-quality standards while working efficiently
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members
  • Work safely and responsibly within a team environment

Requirements

  • Experience in garden maintenance or horticulture
  • Horticulture qualification preferred
  • Strong plant knowledge
  • Full New Zealand driver’s licence required, including ability to drive manual vehicles
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen, resident, or valid work rights)
