Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general garden maintenance across high-end residential properties
- Operate power tools including hedge trimmers (large and small), weed eaters, leaf blowers, and lawn mowers
- Prune, groom, and maintain a wide range of plant materials
- Manage soil health, appearance, and garden presentation
- Apply fertilisers, both organic and non-organic, as required
- Identify and manage pests using organic and other appropriate methods
- Maintain high-quality standards while working efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Work safely and responsibly within a team environment
Requirements
- Experience in garden maintenance or horticulture
- Horticulture qualification preferred
- Strong plant knowledge
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence required, including ability to drive manual vehicles
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen, resident, or valid work rights)
