Job Summary – Part 1

As a Daytime Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a delivery van and transporting tobacco products to small retail outlets. You will complete pre- and post-trip inspections, ensure products are delivered accurately, handle returns, and provide superior customer service.

This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while working independently. Drivers must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. regularly and working in different weather and environmental conditions.

This role is permanent and full-time, with consistent weekday shifts. You will represent Ryder at every stop, ensuring deliveries are accurate, paperwork is completed, and customer interactions reflect Ryder’s high standards. In addition to delivery tasks, drivers will maintain a professional appearance and contribute to the company’s strong reputation for reliability and service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive a delivery van for product distribution.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Deliver products to clients/customers with professionalism.
  • Collect and process product returns, issuing credit notes as required.
  • Complete all administrative tasks and delivery paperwork.
  • Report order discrepancies to the Dispatch Office for resolution.
