Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Associate at Marshalls, your main duties will include:
- Maintaining all floor care cleanliness standards, including operating scrubbers and buffers
- Sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and damp-mopping floors throughout the store
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, backrooms, sales floors, and associate areas
- Refilling essential items in restrooms and lounges
- Performing spot cleaning on glass, windows, and high-touch areas
- Cross-training to assist in multiple areas of the store as needed
- Supporting store recovery, organization, and merchandising standards
- Adhering to all health, safety, and operational policies
- Communicating effectively with management and team members regarding maintenance or cleaning needs
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Flexibility to work varying shifts based on business needs
