Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor production plans for tomato and cucumber crops.
- Oversee daily farm operations, including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
- Implement modern agricultural techniques to improve yield quality and quantity.
- Ensure effective utilization of resources such as water, fertilizers, and agricultural equipment.
- Conduct soil analysis and recommend corrective actions to enhance soil health.
- Supervise field workers and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, growth cycles, and farm performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to plant health, climate control, and farm machinery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and management to ensure smooth farm operations.
- Utilize precision agriculture tools and technologies to maximize productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in vegetable production, especially tomatoes and cucumbers.
- Strong knowledge of greenhouse farming, hydroponics, irrigation systems, and crop protection.
- Ability to analyze agricultural data and provide technical solutions.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
