Responsibilities
As a Welder, your key duties will include:
- Interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols to fabricate products accurately
- Designing and building basic and complex metal structures and frameworks
- Performing welding using ARC and MIG processes, along with oxy/acetylene torch and plasma cutting
- Using hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, screw guns, and precision measuring tools
- Setting up weldments and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and quality
- Conducting inspections and performing rework when necessary
- Maintaining inventory of welding consumables and reporting equipment issues
- Following workplace safety procedures and quality standards
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe
Requirements
- 1–3 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and engineering drawings
- Basic computer knowledge and technical or vocational training preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Physical capability to lift 30–50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes
- Good command of English language (written and spoken)

Compensation
- Welder Level 1: $27.45 – $30.60 per hour
- Welder Level 2: $31.63 – $34.97 per hour
- Welder Level 3: $34.73 – $40.36 per hour
