Job Requirements
- Must hold a full Class 4 or Class 5 driver licence
- Forklift licence and DG (Dangerous Goods) licence required, or willingness to obtain them
- Good physical fitness to handle driving and freight duties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Honest, punctual, and reliable work habits
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures
- Ability to comply with fatigue management, health, and safety regulations
- Comfortable working on the road for extended periods
- Seasonal and casual availability
Required Skills
- Safe and confident operation of trucks in line with road laws
- Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Skill in loading, securing, and unloading cargo safely
- Accurate completion of logbooks, delivery dockets, and documentation
- Basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness awareness
- Clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and site staff
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Professional attitude and good customer service skills
